Biography
Ed Witham, CFA, is Senior Portfolio Manager for Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities at the Maryland State Retirement and Pension System, where he manages the system's securities lending and enhanced cash programs, including in-house cash collateral reinvestment. He has more than 30 years of experience across fixed income, currency, derivatives, and securities finance. Before joining Maryland SRA he held senior roles at Five Bridges Advisors, ACA Capital Management, LibertyView Capital Management, AllianceBernstein, and The Boston Company. He earned a BA from Dartmouth College and is a CFA charterholder. He is GPFA's U.S. Lead and has co-led beneficial-owner briefings with ISLA Americas.
