Biography

Trevor Noronha - HOOPPSenior Legal Counsel, Investment Legal Group - Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP)Legal Working Group Chair - GPFATrevor Noronha has over 15 years of experience in derivatives law. Prior to joining HOOPP, Trevor was counsel in the legal department of one of the big five Canadian banks, focusing in the areas of Derivatives, Securities and Capital Markets. Trevor has negotiated a wide range of derivative, securities lending, repurchase and prime brokerage agreements and all related documentation. He has advised extensively on global derivatives regulation and has played a key role in the creation, development and implementation of domestic and international derivative regulation programs and procedures. Trevor started his legal career in private practice in the Business Law department of a large Bay street law firm.
